Stress Alert
So, just when things look up a TINY bit, a monkey wrench gets thrown in the mix. Patches developed a mouth sore that spread badly until she couldn't eat soft food. We took her to the vet and it'll be between $500-$1,000 to help her and she'll lose most of her teeth. Terrific.

So, things will be tight for awhile. Not stress I need.

Poor thing! I remember when Ethel's teeth started to go bad. She never did regain her "zaftig" figure afterwards. She did, however live another decade, so as long as it'staken care of and they have loving friends, they'll make it....

Thank you, my friend. That helps reassure us we made the right decision. She's an older dog and you never know sometimes if they're telling you its time to cross over. I think she's got some years in her yet.

Thanks!

No problem! My family's ROT has always been as long as they aren't in Pain. WIth Ethel, she was a Rescue...at 9 yrs. SHe already had signs of Arthritis so we found out the dosage for Aspirin for dogs and she got Baby Aspirin for yrs with good results. As long as they're comfortable and Happy, that's all that's important....
