Had a good time yesterday with the Red Hats (I wear a pink hat and lavender shirt because I'm not old enough to be a Red Hat). We went to the underground gardens in Fresno and then out to lunch. We went down early so Mom could go to the dentist and then went to the Dollar store. Mom loves looking in those places. I can handle it if there aren't too many people around.
The tour was good, the man was fascinating and I can see where he influences came from with more experience and age under my belt. I had seen 25 years ago. Not much has changed, thankfully. Building your house in the ground using the hard-pan rock-like dirt was clever and a VERY long time. You could feel that it was cooler even only five feet below the surface.
We wne to an oriental food place at River Park. I had a dish called Banana Beef - a wonderful dish of beef, bananas, green beans, red bell peppers and a sauce. Gods, it was good! I enjoyed the heck out of that and I'll have that for lunch or dinner today.
I woke up yesterday with a pulled neck/shoulder muscle which gave me fits all day long. Took a muscle relaxer when we got home, a rare occurrence during the day time. Say the least, I wasn't too talkative on-line last night.
Going to go house sit for Jackie today. Propane and DISH are supposed to be up today and hook things up for her. No problem.
