Welcome to My Nightmare

Went to Fresno yesterday, the usual long day but it was worth it, I think.  Saw my doctor and got some meds for the sinus problems. Maybe with stronger stuff I can start holding my head up and keeping food down again.  It’s been really horrible for three weeks.

Good news, my cholesterol numbers are good! My doctor is so pleased.  With it moving like it is she thinks we can get it into the fantastic range.  With my family history, that would be awesome.  We’ve got the weight off, the diabetes rescinded, and the rapid heartbeat under control.

I then got a chicken leg and baked beans for breakfast – which was now lunch time after the blood tests and seeing my doctor.  Got my meds and drove over to Target and looked for a pair of black dress pants for my Marine League duties.  All the female trousers were hip riders. Not appropriate as uniform trousers.  I wasn’t sure I’d find a pair of men’s trousers small enough but I found the smallest pair and they fit perfectly.

I then took my uniform shirts and dress blue trousers in for altering and sewing on the patches of the Marine League.  That was a little expensive. 

I love this season – Blair Witch and Halloween on DVD with the bells and whistles for $5.00 each. Love it!  Also got this neat looking cat-gargoyle for $5.00.  Then I headed home, tired as heck by then.

Today was better physically. Did a dump run and debated going to the PFLAG meeting and decided not.  We’re busy tomorrow, Monday, Tuesday and who knows what after that. Big day Saturday.  I’m still not sure if I’m going to do Pagan Pride or the Fresno anniversary parade with the Red Cross.  Both are important.

I’m feeling a little better. The headache didn’t hit until after sunset.  I’m trying to keep the water intake enough and taking my meds. 

Worked on my uniform shoes so more, finally getting to Marine Corps acceptable levels.  Tried a new soup recipe that turned out well.  Mom loved it and I found it nice and hearty.  Definitely something to do again.

Got another chapter done on my Xena/Gabrielle story and started on the third.  That’s nice.  Trying not to think about tomorrow or I’ll get stage-struck and panicked.  Stupid stuff.
